The April Membership Meeting will feature two presentations.
The first presenters will be led by Cody Kohl, a retail relationship banker, and Jason Pardo, a business banker with more than 20 years of experience, both with BMO Bank of Kenosha. The pair will discuss financial literacy, business banking best practices, cash flow management, and fraud prevention strategies, as well as how BMO supports local businesses.
The second presenter, “The Value of Urban Trees to Landlords,” will be given by Karen Kempinen, a retired educator, and Craig Sadur, who holds a master’s degree in Leadership in Public Service and has nearly 20 years of experience in urban ecology. Their presentation will highlight how trees can increase property values; boost rents and speed leasing; reduce energy costs; improve curb appeal; and provide environmental benefits such as better stormwater management and improved air quality.
